Those first spoonfuls do not need a complicated setup. SoftStart has a soft silicone head for small portions and a slim, long handle that is easy for a grown-up to guide.
Use it for purees, yogurt, mashed fruit, and other suitable soft foods. It is light enough to keep a spoon in your bag as well as at home, so you have a familiar feeding tool when a meal happens elsewhere.
